FLORE ROYER
MEZZO-SOPRANO
Flore Royer began her musical journey with the flute at the Conservatoire de Nice, then discovered her passion for singing with Pierre Capelle and pursued it by joining the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP).
In June 2024, Flore obtained her Master's degree in Frédéric Gindraux's class with Distinction. She had also obtained her Bachelor's degree during an Erasmus exchange at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig in the class of Carola Guber and Alexander Schmalcz.
Flore has been actively involved in several productions during her training and has added to her repertoire roles such as Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Métella (La Vie Parisienne), and roles from L’Enfant et les Sortilèges such as La Tasse Chinoise and L’Écureuil. She also performed as Dorabella (Così fan tutte) and Annio (La Clemenza di Tito) in adaptations by Franck Krawczyk (premiered in 2021 at La Seine Musicale).
In 2022, Flore portrayed Daphné in the comedy-ballet Le Malade Imaginaire (Molière/Charpentier) with Les Malins Plaisirs and Le Concert Spirituel under the direction of Hervé Niquet, in a tour which included the opera houses of Nantes, Reims, Angers, Tourcoing, Massy, and Avignon.
For the 2023/2024 season, Flore played l’Enfant (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges), directed by Sandra Pocceschi and Giacomo Strada, in a co-production between the Philharmonie de Paris and the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP). She also played Dido (Dido and Aeneas, directed by Stéphane Fuget, staged by Charles di Meglio) at the Hall of Mirrors in the Château de Versailles.
After working as a soloist at the Académie de l'Opéra Royal de Versailles, she will join the Academy of the Opéra-Comique for the 2024/2025 season. Flore will also perform at the Opéra de Paris, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Opéra Royal de Versailles.
